The role of electrochemotherapy in radiosensitization of tumor cells

(Bentham Science Publishers) Using targeted drug delivery along with selective sensitizing tumors to therapeutic agents are the pioneering scientific efforts in cancer treatment. This study systematically reviewed the literature on the radiosensitizing effects of electrochemotherapy (ECT) to ionization radiation in different tumors and clinical perspectives are discussed.
